Collection: Jump Rings

All jump rings are manufactured from 304 or 316 grade stainless steel.  Jump rings are saw cut in small batches to ensure quality and consistency.  We cut using blades of three different thicknesses depending on the gauge being cut.  The thickness of the blades are 0.2mm (for finer gauges), 0.25mm (for average gauges) and 0.3mm (for heavier gauges).
All jump rings are tumble polished in a burnishing liquid and are washed thoroughly in hot water afterwards to ensure superior shine and the removal of any residue.
What's the difference between 304 grade and 316 grade stainless steel?  I'm glad you asked.  304 grade stainless steel is safe to be worn against the skin but not used inside the body.  316 grade stainless steel is often referred to as 'surgical steel'.  It is safe to be inserted into the body.  It is also considered 'food grade' and is used in food processing and transportation (e.g.: milk tankers are made from 316 grade stainless steel).
